University hospital of RegensburgThe university hospital of Regensburg is the youngest University hospital in Germany. Going into service in 1992 it is today one of the most modern and efficient tertiary referral centers in Germany.  Due to an outstanding infrastructure the hospital is an attractive working and research place for scientists and clinicians. Apart from “classical” research in medicine and biochemistry also research within the field of modern information technologies is in the focus of interest here. This is clearly demonstrated by the large number of granted projects and numerous publications. Also the international center for telemedicine and MedicDAT GmbH are situated here. MedicDAT is the spinoff company for commercial adoption of research and development results in the field of clinical information technology. |
